Mission Founded in 1989 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency, the Richmond Area Arts Council is dedicated to the following mission: To enrich the quality of life for area residents of all ages, the Richmond Area Arts Council, in partnership with the community, presents art forms, provides educational opportunities, and supports and promotes arts groups and artists. We strive to bring enriching cultural opportunities to the Richmond area with particular focus on arts education. Programs and Services The Richmond Area Arts Council offers performing and visual art programs for residents of all ages. In addition to 20 performing art events each year, we provide an extensive educational program for youth and adults. As part of the Richmond community, the Richmond Area Arts Council partners with various community groups including the Madison County Schools, local businesses and other charitable organizations to provide quality programming and educational opportunities for residents of all ages. |
